Overview
Designed for professional use with select D-series, F-series, and Pronea camera bodies, the 24 mm f/1.4 G ED lens is intended for photographers who demand top quality. The large maximum aperture of this wide-angle Nikon camera lens allows faster shutter speeds by letting in more light. With uncompromising attention to detail, Nikon have designed this Nikon AF-S Nikkor lens using 12 lens elements in 10 groups, and included both low dispersion glass and aspherical elements in the construction, which virtually eliminates chromatic and other aberrations. The 24 mm f/1.4 G ED lens also uses Nikon’s exclusive Super Integrated Coating. Superior to normal multicoating, this attains extreme levels of light transmission for maximum clarity and contrast. The elements in the Nikon AF-S Nikkor lens have also been treated with Nikon’s special Nano Crystal Coat, which is a high-tech lens treatment that almost completely eliminates flare and ghosting. These advantages set the Nikon camera lens apart from lenses of inferior quality, allowing it to produce images that are exceptional in quality. This Nikon camera lens has dimensions of 8.38 cm by 8.89 cm (3.3 inches by 3.5 inches), and it weighs 620 g (1.37 lb).
