The HA-FW01 Wood In-Ear Headphones from JVC feature specially engineered wood-dome drivers designed to deliver the kind of detailed, expressive performance that musicians prize in a fine acoustic instrument. The high-energy magnetic circuit, acoustic purifier, wood stabilizer, and metal harmonizer work together to provide a natural and delicate sound well suited to the demands of discerning audiophiles listening to high-resolution audio files.
Wood-Dome Diaphragm
The specially designed 11mm wood-dome diaphragm is only 50 microns thick, providing an expressive driver that achieves a natural tone without generating standing waves and unnecessary resonance. The wood stabilizer suppresses vibrations by using wood parts on the back of the driver unit (the outermost part). This helps to optimally control the housing sound to achieve clear audio without muddying.
High-Energy Magnetic Circuit
The linearity of the headphone has been greatly enhanced thanks to a new plate shape that improves the driving force received by the voice coil. By adopting a new plate shape, the fluctuation of the driving force when the voice coil moves back and forth has been suppressed, and distortion is reduced. Magnetic force has been improved in the ideal direction with a good balance between the front and rear.
In Pursuit of Sound Quality
An acoustic purifier in the earpiece features small protrusions to more accurately collect the sound from the driver and disperse it to the ear. The metal harmonizer uses a combination of stainless steel, brass, and aluminum to control unwanted vibrations for pure, unadulterated sound.
Detachable Cable & Spiral Dot Eartips
Spiral Dot eartips in 5 sizes (S/MS/M/ML/L) are included, along with low-resilience earpieces in 2 sizes (S/M), a cable keeper, clip, and carrying case. The 3.9' braided, detachable cable features L/R isolated grounding with MMCX connectors to the earpieces and a gold-plated 3.5mm plug.
