A simple yet sophisticated standard zoom, the AF Zoom-NIKKOR 24-85mm f/2.8-4D IF from Nikon is a wide-angle to portrait-length zoom well-suited to a wide variety of shooting applications. The optical design incorporates a pair of aspherical elements to reduce distortion and spherical aberrations in order to render greater sharpness and clarity. A Super Integrated Coating has also been applied to minimize reflections and flare for increased contrast when working in backlit and harsh lighting.
